Milja Rummukainen (B.A) is a textile artist and designer based in Tampere. She is currently studying her master´s degree in textile arts and clothing design in the University of 
Lapland. 

Her work is inspired by patterns and textures found in the natural world, which she then translates into her art. She works mainly in hand-knotted pieces using naturally dyed yarn as medium. 

She is interested in slow, handmade processes. Her works have been on display in several galleries in Rovaniemi and Tampere both in group exhibitions and her own first solo exhibition that was held in 2022.
